Our Founder

John W. McIntyre was a Scottish engineer who founded McIntyre Industries in 1928 in California. His career began after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, where he started engineering and manufacturing mechanical equipment for the reconstruction of the city. During World War II, McIntyre played a significant role in supporting U.S. Navy shipbuilding efforts in San Francisco. Since its founding, McIntyre Industries has been committed to delivering custom HVAC solutions, especially for critical environments such as military vessels and large commercial facilities.
